Sports Day
Each year we hold a Sports Day which is a community event. Students are placed into two teams (houses) by family and participate in a variety of events. Parental help is a great boost to the program, and we look forward to this time of working with you.
Book Festival
The Library teacher organizes a Book Festival to promote the value of books and reading in the lives of the students. We encourage all parents to encourage and facilitate reading over movie watching.
SLC and Fundraising
The school has a Student Leadership Council (SLC) which meets regularly to keep student life positive and to plan student events. The SLC consists of the Executive (President, Secretary and Treasurer) and Class Representatives (Years 3 and up, one per class group). The executive positions are for the entire year; the Class Rep positions are per Semester.
The SLC encourages students to look beyond themselves by engaging in some fundraising efforts, such as Hot Dog Days for the school. In the past, classes have worked to improve the school facilities, make donations to another local school and towards (international) mission needs.
